This program was started in 1982 shortly after Meewasin was formed. Today it is a sponsorship program in which the Saskatoon Credit Union has participated in for the last 5 years. The Meewasin Saskatoon Credit Union CleanUp Campaign attracts 10s of thousands of people each year. PITCH IN AND HELP SASKATOON SHINE. Every Spring, community groups, youth groups, friends, family and neighbors gather to help clean up your riverbank, parks, schoolyards or other areas of your choice. Registration includes garbage bags and automatic entry for prizes.
